Well it has happened.   The gas prices have made their jump, 0.24 cents per gallon here in one day.  The majority of the stations here in Sidney, OH are sitting at $3.45 per gallon of gasoline.  To fill the one of our vehicles the price is $41.40, the other $58.65 at the point we normally do fill-ups.  So, based on that we need to squeeze every nickel out of this gas that we can; every penny for that matter.  And we are, in case you have not been following our lives I am going to show you again how we are doing it and how you can too.  I had been using examples that are fictitious, but in this posting I am going to share with you real numbers from our vehicles.

First off, let’s set the stage on what we are dealing with.  First we have a 2002 Buick Lesabre with around 110,000 miles on it.  Next, a 2005 Chevrolet Equinox with about 64,000 miles on it.  The Buick was getting 21.89 mpg and the Chevrolet about 17.1 mpg. Insert Ethos here, we added Ethos FR to our oil and we added it to our gas.  The Buick mileage increased 22% and The Chevrolet 19%.  Let’s take a look at what this means to our pocket.

First, we have to find out what our increase in mileage factors out to be.  We’ll take the Buick first, at 22% increase in economy then we get 22% more out of 1 each gallon of gas that gets used in that car.  If we look at the current gas price of $3.45, then 22% is equal to $0.76.  If we gain 76 cents in efficiency for every gallon of gas we use we can then calculate that out to the entire tank, which usually gets filled with 17 gallons of gas, this is $12.92 more value out of that tank of gas.  To look at it another way, the miles we put on the car during that tank cost us $12.92 less than they would have had we not been using Ethos FR.  A couple of 32 oz. bottles will treat just over 32 tanks of fuel in this car after you factor in what we use in the oil.  The sub-total of the savings in this vehicle is $413.44, the product cost was 85.90 for a total savings of $327.54.  That is money kept in your pocket for doing something that you will have to do anyway, fill your tank.  For all you numbers people out there, that is a 381.3% return on investment!

Now let’s take a look at the Chevrolet.  We are saving 17%, which equals $0.59 in efficiency per gallon.  This vehicle is usually filled with 12 gallons of gas for a per tank savings of $7.08.  We have enough between two 32 oz. bottles to treat 47.5 tanks of gas in this car.  That is a savings of $336.30, less the 85.90 for the Ethos FR and we have a savings total of $250.40.

Keep in mind, this is our savings in our vehicles which I can honestly say, need tuned up badly.  Once we do our required maintenance when the weather warms up I fully expect that the product will perform much better than it is.  Many people out there are reporting much higher mileage increases, some 40%!  But even at these figures that is a nice amount of money saved on something we have to buy anyway, our saving in fuel will pay for our tune-ups.

Can you afford this product?  Honestly, can you NOT afford this product?  With fuel prices where they are now and the fact that they are expected to rise I would not drive my vehicle without it.

Wait, you haven’t bought it yet have you?  You’re hesitating on it for some reason, it can’t be the savings they are guaranteed.  What else could hold you back?  Maybe because you are worried about what it will do to your car?  That’s ok, I was too.  My car is my lifeline; it is how I get back and forth to work to make a living, without it where would I be left?  So I can understand your concerns.  Let me tell you what it will do to your car, just so you are prepared.  It will make it live longer.  That’s the bottom line.  Here is why I say that.

You get more efficiency from the fuel that you burn therefore you burn less of it to produce the desired effect, that effect being turning your engine.  You can turn out more power with less fuel is what it comes down to, that power saving gets passed down the line, crank to torque converter, to transmission, to axle, and to the wheel.  Because less produces more then less is actually required to do what you typically do.  For example, in my Buick driving down the road at 75 mph my engine would be turning about 2500 rpm, rotations per minute.  After adding Ethos FR that same road at 75 mph is done at 1900 rpm!  So, my engine is not working as hard to do what I normally ask it to do, the less work it does, the longer it will last.  Also, fuel with Ethos FR added has a lower flash point, meaning it ignites at a lower temperature than gasoline alone.  Before Ethos I would run engine temperatures in the 190 degree range, after Ethos I am in the 170’s.  Adding Ethos FR to your oil increases the lubricity; basically makes it more slippery.  The more lubrication, the less friction, the less friction you have the less heat that is produced.  Produce less heat, not only does your oil last longer but the internal components that the oil is protecting as well.  You don’t have to be a mechanic to run through the benefits to your car by adding this product to it.  Your engine is cooler, cleaner and smoother, therefore it lasts longer.  If you’re worried about your warranty, relax Ethos FR is not an additive, even though you add it to your fuel, it is a reformulator which increases the performance.  Since it is not an additive it in no way can affect your vehicles warranty when added to gas or oil.  Think about this, the product has been available and in use in the private sector for over 10 years, a product just does not survive if it damages cars.  The public sector has only just been introduced to this in the last 2 years, so this may be why it seems like a new product but I can assure you, it has had its time in the field.

Now, what reason do you have not to give this product a test drive?  Are you still worried that it will not work?  How about this, until March 31st, 2008 I will give you $100 dollars in fuel vouchers that can be used at the station of your choice on your first purchase when you buy 2 32 oz. bottles.  You will spend $85.90, get $100 in gas voucher, save money on fuel and reduce the emissions that your car produces.  I don’t know how much better I can make it.  Just simply forward me a copy of the receipt from buying 2 32 oz. bottles and I will send you your gas voucher.  It’s that simple to get started on your road to savings.

One thing that has come to light that I experienced myself is in electronic emissions cars, the emissions system will cause your mileage to drop.  Here is why, when you start using Ethos FR your emissions are going to take a drastic dive, your car is not used to seeing this.  Your car tries to calibrate itself so to speak in order to do one thing, keep the engine running.  So all your sensor are reading their various information sending it back to the computer which then makes the call of what adjustments need made, turn on your AC the compressor kicks on and bogs things down slowing the turn of the engine and the computer responds by increasing fuel into the cylinders to get it back to where it has determined it should be.  You can see this all the time in your car as you drive, something turns on or off which causes the power of the engine to flicker for a moment until the computer adjusts.  So this judgment by the computer is based on many different sources, one being your emissions sensor.  Optimal performance your computer has learned usually means that your sensor is reading level 10 on emissions for example.  Introduce Ethos and then your emissions level changes to 1 and the computer thinks that if there is that much less emissions then the engine must not be running as it should so it dumps more gas to try to get emissions back to the level it was.  This causes you to use more gas instead of less, not really what you are trying to accomplish.  But there is a fix, an easy one; disconnect your battery.  Remove the positive terminal from your car battery for about 30-60 minutes one evening when you come home and park your car. This resets the emission sensor, and it will re-calibrate based on the new emissions once you fire up your car again.  Your mileage should then increase. Repeat this step for a couple weeks every 7 days, as your mileage with Ethos increases to reset the emission sensor.  After 30 days of using Ethos, you don’t have to repeat that step anymore.  While it is unfortunate that this problem is occurring, it does not affect every vehicle, only the newer vehicles with that electronic emissions sensor, mostly 2005 and up models but I saw it in my 2002 Buick so just be aware.  The nice thing that comes out of this problem is it is solid evidence that the product works.

Now quickly I will again mention that there exists a business opportunity with this product.  You do not buy it in stores, you buy it through independent distributors, just like Avon or Pampered Chef.  You have the opportunity to become an independent distributor and make some create your own full or part-time income.  Plus, through the month of March, when you sign on as a gold level distributor you will get $500.00 in gas vouchers!  That puts you in the organization for practically nothing.  But this offer is only good until March 31, 2008 so if you have been thinking about it, now is the time to act.  The most successful people in history did not become so by circumstances alone, it was conscious choice that made their success.   The circumstances are here, nobody can argue that with the fuel prices where they are and where they are going.  The rest of the story is up to you.  Click here if you think you are ready to create success.

What an exciting time of the year, March is in full swing which means that Spring is just around the corner.  I can’t wait for that warm sun to start popping the flowers and catch the smell of the seasons first cut of grass.

Jonathan is now 9 weeks old!  His first series of shots was today, 3 of them, two in one leg and one in the other.  He was definitely not happy about that.  But he is now weighing in at 13 lbs. 9.5 oz., hugo-baby, and he is 23.25 inches long.  Wowsers, once this boy moves into solid foods we are going to go bankrupt.

Angie returned back to work, and boy she hates it having to be away from Jonathan.  The goal is for her to be staying home full time as quickly as possible.  The fact that a position that she was considered being promoted to is not going to be coming to her company makes this goal an even higher priority.  I can’t wait until that happens, I want her happy, that is one of the most important things to me.  She makes me happy I just want to be able to return the favor.

Jaxon, the little monster of a Scottish Terrier has an ear infection.  As irritating as the animal is I kinda feel sorry for him.  We began treatment on that today, seems to make him feel better.  But it does not stop him from being a royal pain in the butt stealing things off the tables and such.  He ate 3 dollars today, what kind of creature eats money?

Just to give you all an update on the Ethos and how it is working out, I got 480 miles on my last tank of gas.  This is a full size LeSabre, and I have never gotten this mileage out of it.  On top of that, it is in dire need of a tune-up, so to see this out of it is exciting to me.  It should be to you as well.  Why?  Because you have the opportunity to get in on this great product.  Don’t want to get started in a business opportunity?  Understandable.  But I challenge you to at least use the product.  Maybe saving money on gas is not your thing.  Maybe you are not worried about the overwhelming predictions and evidence that gas prices will soon hit $3.50 per gallon.  You might not have any interest in saving the environment through reduced emissions, increased mileage and cooler running engine.  If none of those things interest you then how would you like to get paid to try it?  That’s right, you can get this product for free after rebates, beyond free.  Let me explain, if you go to this website and buy 2 32 oz. bottles of the Ethos reformulator, your cost will be $85.90.  Once you make this purchase, send me an email and show me that you have made this purchase.  I will then send you $100.00 in gas certificates.  You will make $14.10 to try a product that will save you between 30 and 70 dollars every bottle you use.   It’s like getting paid to save money.  I am going to explain to you how you’ll get this savings.  This example is very conservative.  Let say that you begin using the product, you add 5 of your 64 oz. to your oil leaving you with 59 ounces.  You follow the recommendations and add 3 oz. per 10 gallons for the first few tanks. and we’ll pretend that you have a 10 gallon tank on your car.  After 3 tanks you are left with 50 ounces of Ethos, enough for 500 gallons of gas!  Ok, you are now on your 4th tank of gas with the product, by this time you are probably seeing about a 10% increase in your mileage provided you have followed the directions and your car is in proper running order.  Now, pretend that your base mileage before using Ethos is 17 mpg, a 10% increase would take you to 18.7 mpg, or a 1.7 mpg increase.  Now, what is that worth?  If you are paying $3.10 per gallon then 1.7 mpg carries a value of $0.31.  Take that and multiply it by 10, the number of gallons in your tank and you find a savings of $3.10, do that 50 times…50 oz. 1 oz per 10 gallons after the first few tanks….so 50 tanks calculates out to $155.00 in savings.  You will still pay the same amount of money when you fill up at the pump, you will just fill up a little less often.  This is just based on a 10 gallon car, getting 17 mpg and only getting a 10% increase….not quite reality but if you take that math and apply it to your own vehicle….well then.  Are you serious, you have not gone to this site and made the purchase yet?  What could you possibly be waiting for?  This $100 gas offer is for a limited time, I urge you to go now and not miss out on this.  Add to this the oil savings, your oil will last longer, so less changes.  Your engine will run cooler and emissions will be almost non-existent.

For those of you interested in the business opportunity that this product creates feel free to click here to learn more about this.

Well that about wraps up this posting.  I will be back with more this weekend to let everyone know how our storm that is moving in tomorrow goes and to share even more about fuel, business and life in general.  Not to mention how Jonathan’s 24 hours went following his shots.
