Well, Saturday morning has finally arrived after another long week. Jonathan awoke this morning at 8:00 am in a really bad mood and decided to stay that way for a good hour. I think he got a little too much sleep if that is at all possible for a 19 month old. He is definitely better now after a good diaper fill and some graham crackers to be washed down by his smoothie. I managed to get his pool inflated and filled so that the sun can warm up the water for an afternoon of wet fun for him. I imagine his brother will join him in becoming waterlogged. Speaking of his brother, Matt set his alarm clock to get up at 8:45 this morning and he did; for about 7 minutes to say hi, use the restroom and return to bed. This is where he is now. Myself I am thinking about taking Jonathan to the grocery, it has been a couple of weeks since a full shopping trip was made and the refrigerator and cupboards are showing it. But, at the same time I am not aware of everything that we need or everything that Angie wants picked up so I may not go for this reason. We got West Virginia stores set up over the past couple of days, I went down on Thursday with Wes and got new stores all ready in Hurricane and Charleston, WV, this made for 14ish hours on the road between Thursday and Friday and it is not easily understood how much that wipes you out. Charleston had its opening day on Friday and Hurricane is to follow on Monday. These two stores are Alltel conversions, they will still say Alltel on the signs until the final Verizon switch at a point in October. In case you are not up to date, Verizon bought Alltel quite some time ago and has been working to merge the two into one, in October this will be final and Alltel customers will officially be Verizon customers. It is a pretty exciting time. So at any rate my ideal situation right now would be to be in bed, but the dilemma is for how long and what would follow? Without much in the kitchen then we would be in a situation for getting everyone lunch/brunch and such. Then there would be the need to go to the store to get everything at that time, come home, unpack and then start the preparation process. By that time starvation will have overcome me and I would be found face down in front of the stove. I am sure I will figure it out, Angie will probably be up soon and motivate something. I do know that if I don’t stop typing nothing will get done. I will close on that note. Take care web. |
